Himalayan pink salt is used in cooking, for table lamps, spa treatments and even in large slabs as a cooking surface. Is there anything it can’t do? Well it can’t chop your veggies for you, but it can make your recipes seriously shine.

What makes it pink?

Himalayan pink salt is a rock salt mined in Pakistan. The salt is processed minimally and therefore contains trace minerals that are not only good for your health, but give it it’s pretty pink hue. We love appetizers! We’re especially partial to Chili Garlic Prawns which come to life with a little chilli garlic sauce and some pink salt. We’re not saying that salt is the reason everyone will gobble these up, but it certainly helps.

As summer comes to an end, we want to spend as much time outside as possible. One of our favourite main dishes that can be made on the grill is Chimichuri Tikka Steak (or tofu steak for our veggie friends!)
